Causes of WWI
WWI begun due to the rising of nationalism in the European nations. The formed nations were afraid they were not ready for any wars so decided to build a military for there nations. The other nations did not comprehend with each others building weapons for war. Germany, France, Britain and Russia began an alot war.
Opium Wars - Imperialism In China
During the Opium Wars was a war between Great Britain and China over tradings of drugs to chinese people due to the deep cultarul conflicts between east and west. The wars were named "Opium Wars" because in the trades opium was being traded. Being one of the reasons why the war had begun it was named after it. Great britain had won the war because of there advantage in technology they had with weapons.
Film Lesson: "Mountains of the Moon"
In the film "Mountains of the Moon" the Europeans faced many diseases, threats and starvation as they explored Africa. The source of the Nile River was named after a British Queen (Victoria) because they explored Africa with there countrys pride to find the source of the river an due to that they ecided to name the lake after there British Queen Victoria. Europeans had a higher technological advantage over the Africans with there guns. Europeans were eventualy able to conquer the land due to the substancial amount of soldiers and guns they acquired over time.

Imperialism Project
We started the Imperialism project to learn an see how europe and other countries traveled to new lands for materials an control over land. During the project me and my group learned how countries decided which water route to take an which rivers were used to enter the interior of specific countries. We also learned why the countries invaded nnew lands for materials an land control for example we learned europe was running low on materials so they traveled to africa to find gold, silver and ivory to fuel there trading.

Karl Marx and The Industrial Revolution
Karl Marx was a unhappy German factory worker because of all the harsh and dangerously unsafe conditions. He felt workers should have some equal rights to landlords. Karl Marx's ideas are considered to be communism. He felt there should be nations of communist where the people had there right to make there own laws an fight/protest for there rights.

Nationlalism & The Creation of Italy
Nationalism is loyalty to your country, you respect the laws and your country to keep it safe and have pride in your country. I am nationalistic because i follow the laws to my country and with that pay taxes when i go to buy items at stores.

Simon Bolivar and Latin American Revolutions
Simon Bolivar was very famous because of his remarkable accomplishments liberating most of an entire continent that is nearly one-half that of the United States.
Bolivia is named after Simon because in reward of saving Peru the south eastern part of it was named after him. Simon Bolivar helped to defeat the Spanish occupiers with surprise attacks and planned tactics for battle.
Simon Bolivar was influenced in his quest for revolution by the studies of philosophers Rousseau, Locke and Voltaire also the invidual accomplishments of Napolean I. Simon Bolivar was influenced by the United States from his journey back home traveling through the country that recently won its independence from Great Britain at the time. When returning to Venezuela he realized his country's time had come to recieve its independence from Spain and he was destined to be the movement's leader.
